The chairman of the Presidency of Hapatmitas, alternatively called the chairwoman of the Presidency when the officeholder is female, is the head of the Presidency of Hapatmitas, which collectively serves as the head of state of Hapatmitas. While the chairperson does serve as head, the 1972 constitution refers to the position as "first-among-equals." The person in the Presidency with the most popular votes from the presidential election is designated as the chairperson for the entire term.
Ewan Thorcaill has been the incumbent officeholder, since 1 January 2023.
