The Paleocacherian Air Force has its origins back in the 19th century when the Paleocacherian Federal Army obtained two lighter than air vessels for reconnaissance and patrol purposes. Today the Air Force is composed of around 1200 aircraft of both domestic and foreign manufacture.

History

Organization

Paleocacherian Air Force squadrons are organized into groups of 12 planes each with three flights of four planes in each squadron. A wing is composed of either two or three squadrons.

Tyson Gryphon, Fighter, 480 planes Saab JAS-39 Gripen of the Czech Air Force taking off from AFB Čáslav.jpg The Tyson Gryphon is the backbone of the Paleocacherian Air Force's combat units. Most of the country's fighter squadrons are composed of this nimble single engine plane.
Kimaco Spiteful, Fighter, 158 planes

These modernized versions of twin-engine fighters are imported from Montsayette, many of them are based off of the Navy's carriers but 120 are in Paleocacherian Air Force service as long-range interceptors.
Kimaco Mosquito, Fighter, 96 planes KimacoMosquito2.png These are the first fifth generation fighters to be operated in Paleocacher, they were developed jointly between Kimaco and Tyson with the intent of countering new Zloveshchiyan and Akvarelan aircraft. They are used for air superiority missions in Paleocacherian domestic airspace.
Tyson AMX, Attack, 220 planes Alenia-Aermacchi-Embraer AMX, Italy - Air Force JP7721735.jpg The AMX attack jet manufactured by Tyson is used for longer range ground attack against tougher targets.
Tyson Túcán, Attack, 220 planes Super Tucano at Moody.jpg The Túcán is a general purpose close air support and counterinsurgency plane that makes up most of the attack squadrons in the PAF.
