The October 2016 LCN presidential election was held on 22 October 2016. The election resulted in Icaris continuing to serve in the position of president, but now with an official democratic mandate.

The election ended with Icaris winning 67.4% of the vote and becoming president. The election ended with 85.19 percent of voters approving the nominations to the Council of the Republic.[1]
