History
Itse Gadu was founded in 1925 and heavily funded by the Government in an effort to attract tourism to Sequoyah and offer a place for Sequoyan soldiers to visit on leave from the Sequoyan Tribal Wars. It was founded by Rick House, a wealthy businessman who made a fortune of nearly 300 million Sequoyan dollars after founding House Technologies which sold radio components and radios. House built several casinos, hotels, and resorts, and used his wealth to bribe several members of congress into granting Vegas autonamy. House self appointed himself as mayor and passed laws legalizing Prostitution, gambling, and homosexuality which are largely illegal in Sequoyah (however, many railroad companies encourage these practices to keep their men busy when not working.) Over time, Vegas grew to be the single most popular vacation spot in Sequoyah, and one of the few places completely powered by electricity.
Politics
Itse Gadu has been dominated by the House family, who are immensely popular within the city. Every mayor in Vegas' history has either been directly endorsed by the House patriarch, or been a House himself. The current mayor, Rhett House, owns every casino and hotel in Itse Gadu and has based House Technologies in Vegas, which is currently making a fortune off of selling computer terminals to the Central Railroad Company and the Union Railroad Company.
Points of Interest
There are several immensely popular hotels and casinos in Itse Gadu, including Sodom, The Winter Palace, and Chief Joe's Kingdom. While Sodom is known for its prostitution and strippers, The Winter Palace is known for its shows, and Chief Joe's Kingdom is allegedly the best place to gamble in the city. The newest and largest casino is the Sierra Madre, where Rhett House resides.
