Neuerstaat officially the State of Neuerstaat (Kivuian: Staat Neuerstaat), is a province in northern Kivu bordering the states of Jork, Gerstungen, Düsuntberg, Blahimil, Unholland, as well as the country of Karium. Völksen is the state capital of Neuerstaat, as well as the largest city. Neuerstaat is the fourth-smallest of Kivu’s twenty five staats, with an area of 36,586 square kilometres (14,126 sq mi), and the fifth-least populous, with 976,832 inhabitants, as of 2020.
