The National Intelligence Service (Cantuath: Seirbheis Fiosrachaidh Nàiseanta), often abbreviated to the SFN, is an intelligence agency of Hapatmitas. Often confused with the Military Intelligence Directorate, the SFN is responsible for domestic intelligence, homeland defense intelligence, and counterterrorism intelligence. It is currently de-jure headed by TBD, the Minister of Defence and Intelligence. However, in common practice, the Ministry for Defense and Intelligence separates the minister's roles into multiple other portfolios to alleviate responsibilities; the duty of heading the SFN is given to the Director of the National Intelligence Service, currently held by TBD.
