Landenmeerofficially the State of Landenmeer (Kivuian: Staat Landenmeer), is a province in western Kivu bordering the provinces of Buchthafen, Nahmer, Brenawald, Wulkanald, Trokgas, and Donarwasser. Anderkoste is the state capital and largest city. Landenmeer is the largest of Kivu’s twenty five staats, with an area of 174,989 square kilometres (67,564 sq mi), and the ninth most populous, with 2,803,778 inhabitants, as of 2020.
