The Hafnirurvöllur, is a large football stadium located in Hafnir, Reykanes. It is Reykane's largest stadium, with a capacity of 40,000.

The stadium was built in 1954, the same year when the national team was created. It was expanded in 1962 to be fit to host the LFE Ecros Championship in 1963 and was expanded and renovated in 2016. The stadium is used by both the Reykanes national football team and the Reykanes women's national football team for the international matches. It also hosts the finals in the Besta-deild Ullr

Transportation

Hafnir, as the capital of Reykanes, has a extensive public transportation system. The Hafnir Metro serves the stadium as its own station, and connects easily to the rest of the city, as well as to Southern station which runs national rail services across the entire country and also connected by bus.
