Dimaus is a metropolitan city and capital city in the state of Laporinza in The Theocratic States of Icaris. It is the oldest city in the nation on record, with archaealogical evidence dating its founding back to the year 100.

Dimanus sits on the name inlet on the bank of the name river and the coast of the Polonic Sea. Due to its location, the Port of Dimaus (previously known as Port of the Royal King and Port of Kuyuhayat as various times) due to the influence of both the Muhadi kingdom of Urshawabad and the Taphkish ethnic group.

Etymology

The name Dimaus comes from two Adasiatic words, the language of the North Antelanians who occupied the area at the time of the city's founding. The name is thought to be a amalgamation of the word "Δυσμάς" dysmas, meaning "to the west" and "αμαυρός" amavrós, meaning "dark-skinned" referring to the West Antelanians who had darker skin than the North Antelanians.

History

The city was founded by North Antelianians to utilize the river and coastal area for trade of their agricultural goods west down the coast to West Antelanians and inland utilizing the name river.
