the Christian Democratic Party (Slavic:Христианско-демократическая партия; transliterated : Khristiansko-demokraticheskaya partiya) known as the Christian Democrats (Slavic:Христианские демократы; transliterated :Khristianskiye demokraty) is a Ajaki Conservative and Christian Democratic political Party. Its also the largest political movement in Ajakanistan, with its leader Aleksi Norvay, being prime minister.

The Christian democrats have been described as being a "big tent" of centre to right wing ideoligies and as a result of this its views on topics may vary.
the party leader Aleksi Norvay has also stated that "We the christian democrats, want an Ajakanistan were the people can be generally more free from government intervention including a low tax rate, as one of our core beliefs is the freedom of the individual"

The party's view on other nations has been very mixed, with many of the factions disagreeing upon how the party should view countries like Creeperopolis and Gjorka. The Liberal , Libertarian and moderate faction of the party has been generally oppossed to closer relations with Creeperopolis, with the Christian and National Conservative factions argueing for more closer relations with Creeperopolis including the Creeperian Catholic Church.

Liberal Faction

The Liberal faction (Officialy reffered to as the Liberal Union) is the smallest faction in the KDP composing of only 4 members. It is the most socially progressive of the factions Supporting policies like Same-sex marriage and sex reassignment surgery. Economically the party supports Keynesian liberalism.
Moderate Faction

The Moderates is the second largest faction behind the Christians. The Moderates strifes for a centre right aligned KDP, and supports economic Liberalism , Liberal Conservativism and Cross political cooperation.
Christian Faction

The Christian Faction (Officialy reffered to as the Christian Bloc) is the largest faction in the KDP. The ideals of the factions are based upon a Moderate Christian philosophy , Social Conservativism and Paternalistic conservatism. It has faced scrutiny for its Anti-Same sex marriage and Pro-life posistions.
Libertarian Faction

The Libertarian Faction (Officialy reffered as Common sense Union) is the 4th largest faction composing of 5 members. The Libertarians advocate for lower taxes and stopping state intervention in the private life of citizens. The faction is widely conservative, however still supporting abortion and same sex marriage.
Nationalist Faction

The nationalist faction (Officialy reffered to as the Conservative Way) is the third largest faction in the party and the most right leaning faction within the party. It takes hard stances on immigration ,LGBTQ rights and Cherzian separtism. It has been accused of pushing NIA politics into the KDP.
