34-Day War, also known as the Reykani Civil War was fought from 4 July 1949 to 7 August 1949 between the Reykani Socialist Republic and the State of Reykanes. Socialist Republic was the Communist faction, originally created in February of 1949, the State of Reykanes was the Far-right Fascist faction, who rose up on the 4th of July, which initially started the conflict.
The Nationalist Party (Flokkur Þjóðernissinna) was kicked out of the 1949 election, where the Communist Party relegated a hospital fire to them a day before the election. They used the moment to establish the State of Reykanes in southern Reykanes.
