Cynnydd Brawpobl is the current ruling party of Daesdain, led by incumbent Prime Minister Fflewyn Morgan, which controls 112 of the 219 seats in the Senedd. The party was founded in 1983 by Lawnslot Neagle as the successor to the Union Party and historically has held centre-right ideals and policies. Historically the party has been the major opposition to the Free Liberal Party. The party was led by Prime Minister Deheuwynt Davies from 1993 to 2001 and by popular Leader of the Opposition Sainderyn Canaid Rhŷs from 2001 to 2009. Current party leader, Fflewyn Morgan, was elected in 2013.
