Generius III (586 - 5 June 628) was an emperor of the Northern Romanyan Empire from 625 to 628. Generius came to power after the death of his brother Galarens in 625 and spent the majority of his reign fighting against usurper to the throne Didius Aurelius. Generius died in 628 while on campaign in Romanyan Parlas against the Trevenii tribe. Generius married Alecia of Savotta, the sister of Fabia Eudokia, wife to Savottan emperor Heraclius. Generius' one son, Marcius Generius was executed following the death of Generius III on order of his cousin, emperor Generius IV.
