The Ampëz Accords is an economic and defence treaty signed by Jackson and Tirol on 13 May 1991, and revised on 25 June 1997. The agreement is in force to present day and contains a number of provisions relating to economics and security goals.
Content
General clauses
The parties to this document are the United States of Jackson (as defined by the Constitution of Jackson), and the Free State of Tirol (as defined by the Constitution of Tirol). The parties may not recognize any governments to another party other than those legitimately recognized in the treaty.
1991 Agreement
- Jackson and Tirol will endeavour to protect the other party from military occupation and will take the side of the other party during war.
- Jackson and Tirol will endeavour to minimise the impediments to private investment between the two nations.
1997 Agreement
- An exchange rate mechanism shall be established, the parties shall endeavour to maintain a rate of exchange of S1 to $0.7. Variation of the value of the dollar relative to the schilling must not exceed 5% in difference from this rate.
