Aktonia International Airport (Arabic: مطار اكتونيا الدولي; Maṭār Aktonia Al Dawli is the main international Airport of Aktonia, and the largest and busiest in Aktonia, it serves airlines like SconiaAir and Arabia Airport, among other airlines, it was created in 1936 during the Sconian Caliphate, it has undegone several renovations over the years with the latest major renovation happening in 2021
History
The Aktonia International Airport was created in 1936 by an order of the Caliph, as airplanes were becoming popular during that time, it was designed by Architect Ahmad ibn Younis, he was influenced by other airports that were opening during that time, the construction took 7 years, it started on September 7th, 1929 and it was finished on October 12th, 1936.
