The rights of Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) people in Monsilva have varied throughout its history.

With the founding of the Monsilvan Republic in 1978 after the Monsilvan Revolution, homosexuality was decriminalised for men. Before this, homosexuality between men had been punishable by death during the People's Republic of Monsilva. Since then, the rights of LGBT people in Monsilva have only improved. In 1993 the first federal act relating to the LGBT community was passed which legalised same-sex unions and civil partnerships as well as adoption on a federal basis. Later, in 2008, the Monsilvan Armed Forces stated that openly LGBT people can now serve in the military. One of the largest Acts passed by the Monsilvan government in its history was the Anti-Discrimination Act of 2011 which made all discrimination based on age, race, sex, disabilities, religion, orientation, marriage, civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity illegal. Same-sex marriage was made legal federally in 2015.

In terms of state laws, some states have had more rights for LGBT people than others overtime. In 1993, Amking and Luhai were the first to make same-sex marriage legal, whereas it was only made legal in Weishi, Zaixian and Nanyan when it was made legal federally in 2015. Similarly, when the Anti-Discrimination Act of 2011 passed, eight states had already passed anti-discrimination laws that do the same as the federal act.
