Peter Eliassen was a Mirvanian-born historian, theologian, and social scientist. Eliassen is most known for his involvement with the Parkavid ethnic group in central MIgaza and his efforts to restore their history. Eliassen played a crucial role in assisting Nathaniel Gilchrest re-translate the Puirlava in a more accurrate way. He published his second doctoral thesis in 2012, researching and learning about the Jursan faith and how it was evolving, how it was being targeted in genocide, and how various mistranslations led to the emergence of a new faith, Nantism.
