Kilchii Sike is the acting chief and supreme ruler of the Navaja tribe. He is known for his staunch conservatism and traditionalism. He believes in preserving the warrior tradition of the Navaja, which states that melee combat is preferred and that trapping and residing in the marshlands and rivers should be the lifestyle Navaja follow.

Kilchii Sike was born as Standing Horse as the son of the former chief, [[Crazy Water]]. Kilchii Sike's mother was Princess [[Yellow Moon]], a [[Cheyall]] princess taken prisoner by a Navaja raiding party. It is believed that Kilchii Sike and Chief [[Standing Bison]] of the Cheyall are cousins because of this. Kilchii Sike's father tried to modernize the tribe, embracing guns, western housing, and accepting [[Itse Amequohi]] missionaries. Kilchii Sike grew distateful in this as a young child, as he idolized the Navaja warbands and preferred their way of battle.

At age 16, Kilchii Sike joined a warband planning to attack Sequoyan trader camps selling alcohol from [[Itse Gadu]] to the [[Cheyall]] tribe along the [[River Mary]]. Kilchii Sike lead the warband and killed several Sequoyans. In response, the [[Sequoyan Army]] dispatched the [[Sequoyan Desert Rangers]], which annihilated the warband. Kilchii Sike was captured and renamed Kilchii Sike by the Rangers. By age 17, however, he was rescued by several [[Cheyall Dog Soldiers]]. Kilchii Sike claimed the name the rangers had given him to show that despite losing his name, his spirit was strong. The Cheyall relinquished Kilchii Sike, who organized several raiding parties armed with spears, and attacked any ships that sailed up the [[River Mary]] without the permission of [[Crazy Water]], most notably several steamships. When Kilchii Sike was 23, his father died from alcohol poisoning. Returning as a war hero, he claimed power as Chief and cast any Sequoyans out of the tribe's territory.

As Chief of the Navaja, Kilchii Sike began a campaign of isolation and demodernization.
