The Constitution of Sconia (Arabic: دستور إسكونيا), is the national document outlining the functions of the country and the rights of citizens, it was made by the Sconian constitutional committee on January 18th, 2010, it marked the start of the Islamic State of Sconia

Constitution of Sconia

Preamble

The Islamic State of Sconia is a unitary, directorial Islamic republic that vows to ensure freedom and full rights for every citizen. The Sconian people are united in one state, regardless of race, gender, or religious identity.

Article I

National elections may be held every four years. Governmental positions are limited to 2 terms; each term is 4 years.

Article I, subsection 1

The following ideologies are banned from participating in government: Islamic Fundamentalism, Communism, and Ba'athism.

Article II

The head of state shall be the President of Sconia; the President of Sconia must sign a law before it is implemented; and the President of Sconia shall not interfere with the directorate.

Article III

The Sconian Legislature is the legislative body of the nation; it is elected by the public.

Article IV

The Nation's official religion is Islam, and lslamic Sharia is the main source of legislation

Article V

The right to security should never be infringed upon.

The right to elect should never be infringed upon.

The right to freely practice religion should never be infringed upon.

The right to protest should never be infringed upon.

It is the duty of every citizen to abide by the law and not infringe on it.

Article VI

Only Muslim scholars may join the legislature.

Only Muslim scholars can become prime ministers.
