Vicente Alfonso Lérida y Páez (8 November 1890 – 1 March 1923) was a Creeperian photographer and journalist for the Gaceta Creeperiano who was a suspect of the murder of Creeperian footballer Gustavo Marroquín Herrera on 1 August 1922.

Biography

Vicente Alfonso Lérida y Páez was born on 8 November 1890 in Alturas El Burro, Adolfosburg, Adolfosburg, Creeperopolis. His father was Armando Víctor Lérida Serrada and his mother was María Concepción Páez López. He attended the San Alfonso University in Adolfosburg and found employment with the Gaceta Creeperiano as a photographer and journalist in 1912. He married Magnolia Lucia Fuentes Flores in 1914 and they had one child: Yolanda Esmeralda Lérida Fuentes.

On 1 August 1922, Creeperian footballer Gustavo Marroquín Herrera was murdered in the Adolfosburg City Hall. He was one of nine people detained in connection to the murder. After intense interrogation, he was released after not enough evidence was found to connect him to the murder. On 1 March 1923, Lérida Páez was lynched in Adolfosburg by a mob seeking extrajudicial justice for Marroquín Herrera's murder.
