The Democratic Guard was formed as a replacement for The Conservative Guard, a region created by Adawn. The region was supposed to be a centrist democracy, but hosted notable fascists and fascist affiliates, most notably Elipium, and also Konisair.
Konsiair was removed from the position of General following a series of attempted bans of region members for holding left-wing political beliefs. These region members may have been puppets of Spode, seeing as both Nootne and Citarkle later appeared in operations against the United Conservative Nations.
Predecessor Region
The Conservative Guard was founded by Adawn in 2017, coincidentally 10 days after another failed bid for the presidency of the LCN.[1][2]
Controversy
Elipium
Elipium, Vice-President of TCG, had created a racially and religiously segregated party in the International Debating Region, where Jews, Muslims, and African-Americans (partially) were barred from entry. This party's members were alleged to be puppets of Elipium, and often posting anti-Semitic content, espousing that communism, feminism, and general cultural decline were the result of a Jewish conspiracy.[3][4]
