Simón Gustavo Garrido y Barrios (January 7, 1671-November 3, 1734) was a Castilliano politician who served as Prime Minister of Castilliano from March 24, 1705, until his removal on June 2, 1706.

Vote of no Confidence
A vote of no confidence was held in 1706 against the Premiership of Garrido Barrios on June 2, 1706.
On May 2, 1706, National Liberal Party leader Fruto Chamorro Pérez called for a vote of no confidence against Garrido Barrios' government, shocking many that a member of the Garrido Barrios government would hold a vote to remove Garrido Barrios and likely hand over power to the National Conservative Party. Pablo Correa Costa came out in support of the vote and the month long process bagan.
The vote was held on June 2, 1706.

The vote passed with 56 voting aye, 43 voting nay, and 1 abstention. According to the consitution, Garrido Barrios ceased to be Prime Minister and the leader of the second largest party, Pablo Correa Costa of the National Conservative Party, became Prime Minister. Correa Costa went on to remain as Prime Minister until 1730.
The day after the vote, the Laborist Party was dissolved and Garrido Barrios retired from politics. Many Laborist Party members joined the National Liberal Party following the party's dissolution.
