The SS Vernier was a Creeperian ocean liner that was operated by the Gold Star Line. She was ordered in 1907, entered service in 1912, and sank after striking an iceberg east of Quebecshire in the Vernier Ocean on 15 April 1924. The sinking of the SS Vernier is one of the most infamous in history.
