Proto-Vaktrian, or proto-Vaktrian, is the reconstructed proto-language of the Vaktrian languages and thus the ancestor of Classical Vaktrian, Standard Vaktrian, and the modern dialects of Vaktrian. Its speakers, the hypothetical Proto-Vaktrian people, are assumed to have lived in the 2nd millennium BC.
