The League, previously known as The League of Conservative Nations and the LCN, and also known as the The Republic, is an enormous region consisting of a semi-democratic regional government with a democratically elected Council through nominations of three, and an unelected Consulate consisting of three Consuls of the Republic, one whom is a Chief Consul of the Republic, who are all equal as an institution. The region was founded on 17 April 2016.

Selected Article
Creeperopolis LIM (born 8 September 2015), often called Creeper, is a politician and former military officer of The League, and formerly the Federation of Conservative Nations. He currently serves as the longest serving incumbent Council Delegate of the Council of the Republic of The League, serving since being nominated and confirmed on 13 July 2019. Creeperopolis joined NationStates on 8 September 2015 and he has held various other political and military offices in the regions of Minecraftia and the Federation of Conservative Nations. Creeperopolis began his serious political career and rose in power in the Federation of Conservative Nations in mid-2018. He served in several positions, being nominated to several cabinet positions and being elected President on 15 January 2019. During the Federation of Conservative Nations political crisis of June to July 2019, Creeperopolis, along with several members of the Federation of Conservative Nations, including then President New Gandor, moved to The League following the passage of Executive Order 70219. In his first month of residing in The League, he was nominated to serve as a Council Delegate of the Council of the Republic and has remained on the council since. Read more...
