The Olino Kemia company was established in 1865 by Jakobo Brunnquell, focusing mainly on creating dyes for a burgeoning textiles industry. Following the decline of textiles in Rakeo, the business pivoted to serving Eastern Rakeo's rapidly expanding need for fertilizer.

Civil War

During the Rakeoian Civil War, Olino Kemia was suspected to have been the provider of carbon monoxide shells used in the Paragon Siege, as well as providing synthetic oxidizers for use in ammunition.
