The New Gandorian Armed Forces is responsible for maintaining the defense and security of New Gandor.
The New Gandorian Armed Forces were founded on April 10, 1660 at the New Gandorian Civil War outbreak. Beginning with a regular standing army and a militia force called the Ostatnia Milicja from which the Gandorian national anthem is derived. After the Civil War the Ostatnia Milicja was made into a department of the Gandorian Army. The Gandorian Armed Forces are also comprised of a professional navy, airforce and special forces branch known as Rosomak. Being a Stratocracy New Gandor does impose conscription or Wybór on all males. All able body men are required to serve a minimum of 3 years starting at age 18, or age 16 if given parental approval. After this, they can choose to make a military career or become a reservist in the Ostatnia Milicja. All reserve personnel up to age 45 can be called into service again in the event of a draft. Women are not conscripted and are able to volunteer for the armed forces.
The New Gandorian Army
The Army of New Gandor is tasked with land operations and defense of New Gandor since its founding in 1660 alongside its reservist counterpart the Ostatnia Milicja. The Gandorian army is approximately 850,000 strong comprised of 34 twenty-five thousand man divisions, with anywhere between 2-3 divisions within a corp. There are 15 infantry divisions, 10 armored divisions, and 9 mechanized divisions. The Ostatnia Milicja currently has 1 million active reserve personnel.
The Navy of New Gandor has 500,000 sailors. The New Gandorian Navy was unofficially founded in 1690 when The Easterners stole ships from the old regime in the New Gandorian Civil War and were formally founded in 1710. The current naval roster for New Gandor is 42 ships, comprised of two carrier task forces, and two battleship task forces. The navy is mostly made of destroyers and frigates, with two carriers, five battleships, and five submarines and four missile cruisers.
The Gandorian Air Force
The Air Force has 150,000 personnel and over 600 aircraft.
