Nanahuatzin (Xichútepan: Նանահուատզին) was a Creeperian tribal leader of the Kingdom of Metapán and lead the tribe in the Final War of Cuscatlán from 871BC to 867BC which ended the Kingdom of Cuscatlán. He is one of the most important figures of the Proto-Creeperian civilization, so much so, that he was later revered as a god by followers of Creeperian Paganism. In recent years, some historians have questioned the existence of Nanahuatzin, labelling him as a myth or a legend.
