Culture and Specialization
Langstad is the cultural and political center of Groffenord, with a population of 7 million people of mainly Nordic decedent. While it is home to many government institutions, it is also home to many metal refineries and chemical plants. These chemical plants manufactures plastics, paper products and basic materials for more complex plants to the east of Langstad. Langstad is the second most cosmopolitan second only to Beauvois and is well known for it's nightlife and diverse job prospects. It's not uncommon for Langstadians to be apart of families that work in multiple industries. It's also a city where it's all about who you know despite government efforts.
