"Landet av de Fria" (In Jackian: "Land of the Free"), is the national anthem of Svedonia.

Controversy

The chorus contains the lyric "Rena vårt varv", where varv is a Svedonian idiom for land, therefore in Jackian "Clear our land". This has been interpreted by some to suggest ethnic cleansing, although it should be noted that lyricist Anders Sigurdsson af Holandus released a statement in 1987 that this lyric referred to clearing out all non-democratic in the country. Repeated calls to change the anthem due to this lyric have been made over the years, with one such call provoking the 2004 Freista Demonstration for equal rights to all groups in Svedonia.
