The city of Kilkenny is one of Paleocacher's greatest cultural hotspots. It is the oldest established settlement in Paleocacher, it was founded over six thousand years ago. It is the location of the Newgrange Religious Site which is where Clovity was founded in the year 3013 BC. Today Kilkenny is home to a large population who rely on tourism and the fishing industry to sustain themselves, the city is not the most economically prosperous in Paleocacher, but that is more than made up for with its rich cultural history. The Kilkenny Cathedral is the oldest Catholic church in Paleocacher, it was built when the first Christian immigrants came from Ecros in the twelfth century.
