Joseph Tanner is an Icarisian attorney, political strategist, and government official. He served as the Attorney General of Icaris and since then his government positions have primarily been within the Regulation Administration of Monetary Policy. He also served as the Chief of Staff to President Elise Shamir and managed Cory Spurling's 2065 presidential campaign, Ivana Yassim's 2069 presidential campaign, and Raúl Buenaventura's successful 2066 State Ministry campaign. He is currently serving as the Chief of Operations for the Traditionalist Party of Icaris. It was rumored Tanner would run for president in 2065 before getting the job with the Traditionalist Party and he reportedly met with President Franco in 2065 to be the RAMP Director and with President Papillion to be the Prime Minister; he was chosen for neither position. Tanner also chaired the Icarisian Union of Business Minded Traditionalists from 2047-2065.
Early life and career
Tanner was a federal prosecutor in Icaris for 19 years and specialized in financial crimes.
