James Inalaru Sharokoh was a Lyoan politician who served as the Third President of Lyoa from 1974 to 1979, where he was deposed in a military coup by Major Laurent Tulossa. Sharokoh is widely regarded as one of Lyoa's most corrupt politicians, embezzling nearly LY$10 million during his first term in office. He narrowly won a second term in the 1978 Lyoan presidential election, which was widely regarded to be rigged.
