The Inchcape Supermaximum Security Detention Center is Paleocacher's highest security prison. Founded in 1966 after a mob boss was broken out of a maximum security prison in Killarney it was built on an island almost a hundred miles off the coast. The only access to the island is by helicopter or boat. The worst the country has to offer reside here, including escape artists, terrorists, mobsters, serial killers, and traitors. As a supermax prisoners each get their own cells and they have immense restrictions imposed on them. Prisoners receive only one hour of time outside of their cell per day. There is no cell service on the island and access to the outside world is strictly controlled. Guards work several days on the island and are ferried back and forth to the mainland and back after several days on site. Armed guards patrol the island's perimeter and monitor inmates in their cells at all times. The prison was deemed inescapable after security upgrades in 2009 and no attempts to escape have been made since the 1970s when the Inchcape Island Siege occurred as a result of an attempt to break a deputy head of the Paleocacherian Mob out of the prison.
