Government
Groffenord is a presidential republic with a bicamrial legislatiure and a anti-corruption agency called the accountability police. The head of state and executive branch is the Chancellor and his/her duties are to enforce the law, accolate emergency funding for regions in crisis and securing treaties with other nations for the senate to ratify.
Parliament is the first legislature meant to have representives portportional to the polulation of a region. It's duties is to organize organize elections, draft laws, select a incumbent chancellor in case the chancellor is not capable of their role due to poor health or indictment and settling interregional disputes via a vote. Parliament has six political parties within it's chambers but they mainly vote as two blocs.
The Senate meant to have one representative per every region, ratifies treaties, and are the second legislature that laws pass through before they reach the Chnancellors desk. The senate is also tasked with cooperation on the budget, declaring war, emergency adressing of issues and issuing of warrants for both the Parliament and the Chancellory which is sent to the Accountabiility Police for processing.
The Chancellory is lead(obivously) by the Chancellor and the Scretary General when the Chancellor can no longer perform their duties. It is also the final branch of governament for laws to pass. Laws require the signatures of both the Chancellor and the Secretary General and if both cannot argee to do so, then it goes to vote amoung the scretaries and they would vote whether the laws passes or not. However this rarely happens. The Chancellory is responsible for international diplomacy,accounting for taxes, initiating a census every two years and military action.
Economy
Groffenord is a developed economy with it's main exports primarly being Coal,Iron,Lumber,Cerium,Lithium and Fish. All exports combined make up 60% of the economy. Groffenord tourist economy makes up for 10% of the economy Groffenord's Service economy makes up for 5% of the economy Groffenord's main port is in Beauvois and it's transport hub for land is Langstad. Groffenord mainly imports tropical fruits,sugar,coffee and various rare earth minerals that cannot be found locally and of course mitchellaneous domestic product from our allies and nations groffenord has good diplomatic standing with.
