The First Silver Act of 1614, commonly known as the Silver Act of 1614 or simply known as the Silver Act I or formally known as the Silver Economy Act was an act passed by the Council of Nations of the Republic of Mesri in 1614 to create a currency based on silver.
The Mesri Republic then created the Silver Treasury of Mesri to help manage and control the circulation of silver coins the next year before abolishing it in favour of the Mesri Currency Council in 1655 after the passing of the First Gold Act of 1655.
