In Sequoyan politics, elections are held to elect various government officials at national, provincial, and local levels. At the national level, voters elect the president, vice president, national senators, and national assemblymen; at the provincial level, voters elect governors, lieutenant governors, provincial senators, and provincial assemblymen; and at the local level, voters elect mayors and municipal council members. Additionally, referendums can be held at national, provincial, and local levels.

Term lengths
- Assemblymen: 2 years, assume office 1 April, must be at least 25 years old
- Senators: 3 years, assume office 1 April, must be at least 25 years old
- Governors: 4 years, assume office 10 April, must be at least 30 years old
- President and Vice President: 6 years, assume office 20 April, must be at least 30 years old
- Mayors and council: 4 years, members assume office 30 April, must be at least 22 years old
