The Nationalist Creeperian Catholic Royal Initiative and the Pro-Fatherland Front of Unification[note 1] is the sole legal political party of Creeperopolis. The party, which is also simply known as the Initiative or the Creeperian Initiative, was founded following the end of the Creeperian Civil War by the victorious Catholic Imperial Restoration Council (Imperial Council), and continues to espouse the right-wing ideology of Romerism.
The Initiative was founded on 4 October 1949 by Creeperian Emperor Romero II following the end of the Creeperian Civil War. The party was formed as a merger of the center-right National Conservative Party (PCN), the right-wing Catholic Royalist Party (PRC), and the far-right Creeperian Pro-Fatherland Front (FPPC), the three political parties which made up the loose Creeperian Conservative Coalition (CCC), to unify the factions of the Creeperian political right into a single political movement.
The party opposed the Creeperian Armed Forces' coup of the government of Emperor Alfonso VI in 2003. Following the coup and the rise Alexander II, party leadership was purged and was replaced with Alexander II loyalists.
The Initiative holds every government position in Creeperopolis, and at a total of over 137,400,000 members as of 2021, the Initiative is the largest political party in the world.

Name
The party's full and official name is the Nationalist Creeperian Catholic Royal Initiative and the Pro-Fatherland Front of Unification (Creeperian Spanish – Creeperian: Ինիծիատիվա Րեալ Ծատօլիծո Ծրեեպերիանո Նածիոնալիստա յ լա'Ֆրենտե Պրո-Պատրիա դե Փնիֆիծածիօն; Creeperian Spanish – Iberic: Iniciativa Real Católico Creeperiano Nacionalista y la'Frente Pro-Patria de Unificación), and is abbreviated IRCCN y la'FPPU (ԻՐԾԾՆ յ լա'ՖՊՊՓ). The party's long name was selected in an attempt to encompass the various ideologies and positions which make up the party, and to resemble the names of the political parties which merged to form the party; "Nationalist" represents the National Conservative Party (PCN), "Catholic Royal" represents the Catholic Royalist Party (PRC), and "Pro-Fatherland Front" represents the Creeperian Pro-Fatherland Front (FPPC).
Due to the length of the name, the party is commonly known as simply the Creeperian Initiative, or even more simply, The Initiative, and is abbreviated as IC. Some foreign organizations and nations have sometimes referred to the party as the Romerist Party or the Romerist Initiative to better represent what the party represents while simultaneously shortening the long name.
