Cohenism

Cohenism, also known as Leaguism, is a form of far-right ultranationalism that is charachterized by political authoroterianism (accused, denied), social militarism, and economic freedom. The ideology came to prominance in the latter half of the 20th century in the Kingdom of Pavulturilor, mainly from low ranking military officers, who formed the Pavulturilori Black League officer's clique, that sought the reclamation of Northern Alaia from Terranihil's first communist, and later National progressive rule and influance, by this nature, Anti-communism and Anti-national progressivism, as well as Irredentism became prominant core tenants of the still-nameless ideology, meanwhile the reclemation of the territory of the once Holy Templar State and the anti-ba'athstic sentiment that was tied to it was largel a result of the sconian Coup, this resulted in the officer's cliuqe to gain more and more influance well into the 21st century in the Military.

After the end of The Midnight Affairs, the marshal Meir Cohen has took over control of Pavulturilor and established the Provisional Authority of Pavulturilor as a governmental body to control the country, and spread the ideology, now coined as "Cohenism", to the country's populace in every way possible.

Presently, Cohenism is the offical ideology of the dominant political party in Pavulturilor, being the Party for National Integrity^{[note 1]}, it's student wing, the United Campuses of Pavulturilor, and it's youth wing, the Pavulturilori Patriotic Youth.

Cohenism places a strong emphesis on the Pavulturilori national identity, as well as the Jewish identity of the country, supporting Jewish Nationalism in Pavulturilor's vacinity. The ideology is critiqed by it's opposition as a facistic and chuvanistic cult of personality, with at least the first being denied by most followers of the ideology.

Etymology

The term Cohenism is often mistakenly attributed to Ezra Cohen, one of the heads of the Pavulturilori Black League, however, this isn't the case, the term was offically created in 2014, to describe Meir Cohen's policies as head of the Provisional Auhtority of Pavulturilor first as a propaganda attempt of the Pavulturilori People's Army, which in turn was offically adopted by the State of Pavulturilor as to defuse the citisism by embracing it. Until then the igeology was referred to at times as "Leaguism", after the officer's clique.

After the Democratization of Pavulturilor, the Party for National Integrity (PIN) has continued the mainline policy of the Provisional Authority of Pavulturilor, which has led to critisism of Cohenism being a fascist Ideiology, these claims are still denied.

Definition

According to most historians and political scientists, Cohenism is a somewhat authorotarian of ultrantionalism that incompasses elements of militarism, irredentism, religon, anti-communism and anti-national progressivism in order to shape the socaity into one mind and will starting with as young as preschoolers. It is places by most in the far-right of the political spectrum, which is a notion endorsed by most important cohenist figures

The ideology, as described by Meir Cohen, the Marshal of Pavulturilor, serves 3 main purposes:
1. "The Preservation of the Pavulturilori Nation."
2. "The national reclamation of northern alaia."
3. "The erradication of all things poisenous to Terraconserva, Communism, Miguelism, and National progressivism."

History

Pavulturilori Black League

Formation

The Pavulturilori Black League's original date of founding is a topic of debate, some speculated it was founded on the end of the South Ecros War, while others claim it to be founded a little before the First Alaia War, as that is when the first documents that confirm its existance are found.

However, most historians agree that the vast majority of ideological tenants were already present at the league's founding, with it's anti-communist roots going as far back as the New Illyrian–Pavulturilori War in cultural influance, as well as the South Ecros War, with anti-national progressive tenants tracing to the First Alaia War, with it's ultra-nationalistic advocacies being documented sometime between the South Ecros War and the First Alaia War. it's anti-ba'athistic beliefs were not formed until until the Sconian Coup. with it's Irrdentist belifs being split between the ones foucusing on Alaia being formed during the South Ecros Wars and the ones mentioning the Holy Templar State being first documented in the early 80's.

Essimulation of the military

With the hawkish policy of the Kingdom of Pavulturilor in regards to communism being largely decided by king Menakhem Melekh V, the league had ample chances to essimulate large parts of the military under its wing, but it was not offically endorsed by the military until the early 2010's despite several of the officers in the organizations being in key positions in the armed forces.

Provisional Authority of Pavulturilor

Following The Midnight Affairs, marshall Meir Cohen took control over Pavulturilor, proclaiming the Provisinal Authority of Pavulturilor as the only legitimate and legal political entity of the country, and began to take steps towards spreading the teachings of the former black league to the entire nation.

Party for National Integrity

Following the end of the Dubătemir Regional Insurgency, and the announcment of elections at the end of the year, and the election of the Party for National Integrity by the majority of 80% of the votes, the Party for National Integrity still upholds the policies of the Provisional Authority that preceeded it unopposed.

Anti-Ba'athism (Pavulturilori: Anti-baatism, Hebrew: אנטי-בעט'יזם) is an offical state-policy of Pavulturilor, which makes illegal the practicing of, support of, and mandates universal opposition to Ba'athism and Islamism.

Anti-Communism

Anti Communism (Pavulturilori:Anticomunismul, Hebrew:אנטי-קומוניזם) is an Ideology and offical state policy of Pavulturilor, which makes illegal the practicing of, support of, and mandates universal opposition to Marxism, Socialism, Communism, and to an extent, liberalism.

Anti-National progressivism

Anti-National Progressivism (Pavulturilori:Antiprogresismul național, Hebrew: אנטי-פרוגרסיביות לאומית) is an ideology and offical state policy in Pavulturilor, which makes illegal the practicing of, support of, and mandates universal opposition to National progressivism, Sentanism, Terranilan Socialism and Vraktian Nationalism.

Economics

Irredentism

Irredentism, is the notion that a nation has been wronged in the past, and should activly seek to annex it's former territory back, be it for ethnic or religous reasons. Both Alaia and Sconia are seens in such a light in Pavulturilor. The former stems from the common belief that Pavulturilor, being the only jewish nation in the world, is the only legitimate ruler of Alaia, due to the jewish minority in the region. While the latter is caused by the historical Holy Templar State, a former vassal state of the Kingdom of Pavulturilor that controlled large amounts of land in modern-day Sconia.

Militarism

The notion of militarism is very prevelant in Pavulturilor, as most of it's neighboring counties are considered as national security threats by many, and a strong military is percived as the optimal response to such a threat, as negotiations are seens as a sign of "Weakness and ineptitude".

Ultranationalism

Pavulturilori nationalism

Pavulturilori Nationalism is a form of civic, cultural and ethnic nationalism found in Pavulturilor. Essentially, it indicates the aspects that characterize and distinguish Pavulturilor as an autonomous political community. The term often serves to explain efforts to reinforce its national identity and self-determination within their national and international affairs. All three forms of nationalism have found expression throughout Pavulturilor's history, depending on the historical period.

Jewish nationalism

Jewish Nationalism is a form of religious nationalism which advocates for the hegemony of the jewish faith in both politics and society, it is commonplace in Pavulturilor, while also being practiced by militias in its neighboring countries, such as the Jewish Army for the Liberation of Alaia in Terranihil and the Renewed Templar Order in Sconia.

Some political schools of thoughts subscribe to the thought that Cohenism is a facicst ideology, pointing out the [Provisional Authority of Pavulturilor]]'s one-party policy, however, that is denied by Pavulturilor on the grounds that is is a "Democratic, multi-party country" in the modern day.

Accused Chuvanism

Some accuse Cohenism as a Chuvanistic ideology that elavates the Pavulturilori people above other ethnicities, and in times, advocating for the ethnic cleansing of the Vaktrian people, this critisism often falls on deaf ears however, as the followers of the iedology ignore it most of the time.

Accused Cult of Personality

Cohenism is accused as a cult of personality of Meir Cohen, as it is named after him, this critisism is often faced with the fact the name originated as an insult from the Pavulturilori People's Army, and was only adopted by the provisional authority of pavulturilor to spite its rivals.
