Clovity is a pagan religion practiced almost exclusively in Paleocacher. It is a polytheistic religion dating back to ancient times. There is "God" who created all things and is the metaphysical highest presence. In his wisdom it is believed that many minor gods were appointed to oversee such things as the oceans, weather, wind, and many other natural phenomena. Historians and scholars note that much of its importance surrounds solar calendars. Holy days such as Hamsain mark changes in the seasons, equinoxes and solstices, and times for planting and harvesting crops. There are also a number of myths regarding monsters and minor gods that act as cautionary tales and tell the tales of noble heroes and villains. The concepts of morality and honor are very important within the teaching's of Clovity. The Aon Leabhar Naomh, the oldest and holiest of the scriptures has no known writers. It was supposedly gifted to the High Priests of the Ancient Kingdom of Rìoghachd an Iar by one of the minor gods who wished to gain his creator's favor. Clovity is worshiped today by the celebration of multiple different festivals, going to a taigh nan diathan and praying to different gods, or by praying at home. Clovity is not mutually exclusive with the second most practiced religion in Paleocacher, Christianity and they both share some traits. People who practice Clovity generally do not discriminate against people who follow other religions or are different in other ways.
