Chas Sutherland is an Icarisian billionaire and government official. He served as the CEO of Waltham Investments for 26 years before stepping down amid investigations into fraud and settlements paid to cover up crimes committed by the management. He was a senior partner with the Attica Group from 2057-2068 before taking a role as the Director of the Office of Economic and Business Development within the RAMP. After a year in the OEBD, he spent a year as the Director of the Office of International Trade. In 2070, when Maksim Mytnik was appointed Director of the RAMP, Sutherland was named as his Deputy Director. His roles in government have been met with heavy scrutiny given his criminal past and the nature of which he left his role as CEO of Waltham. When he took office as Deputy Director of the RAMP, he was 80 years old.
