Cardinal Pictures, legally Cardinal Pictures, Inc, is a Krystallic film studio founded in 1914. The studio is currently owned by the media conglomerate, Cardinal Worldwide Media.

History

The current form of the company began as three separate companies.

James T. Stockview, founded a film company in rural Redwheat, a strategic location for vast film set creation and production. His company, the James T. Stockview Feature Film Company was founded in 1912.

A Játékosok Társasága (The Players Company) was founded in Hunpesh, by ____ in 1912. The company was moved to Krystallum in 1913 and translated to Common Standard Ursha as “The Players Company” from the original Pesha language.

Esther and Marcus Cardinal founded Cardinal Prime Pictures in northern Redwheat as a film distribution company.

In 1914, the Cardinals entered into an agreement with The Players Company an the James T. Stockview Feature Film Company to distribute their movies.

In 1916, the agreement became a three-way merger known as the Cardinal-Players Feature Film Company in Stockview.

In 1927, the name changed to the Cardinal-Players Film Company as motion pictures were growing in popularity. By 1930, the name officially changed to the now well-known “Cardinal Pictures Inc”.

Cardinal Pictures Inc was acquired by Parmedio, Inc. in 1994. The conglomerate merged twice with CGB, the first 2000-2005 and reformed in 2019. In 2022, the conglomerate changed their name to Cardinal Worldwide Media.
