The Captaincy General of Rakeo (Creeperian Spanish: Capitanía General de Rakeo; Rakeoian: Kapitaneca Generalo de Rakeo), officially the Captaincy General and Department of Rakeo and the Southern Territories (Creeperian Spanish: Capitanía General y Departamento de Rakeo y los'Territorios Sureños; Rakeoian: Kapitaneca Generalo de Rakeo kaj la Menoras) was an administrative division and de facto colony of Creeperopolis from 1838 to 1918.

The captaincy general administered the territories of Rakeo, the Islas Conejos, and Susla, and its capital city was Olino. From 1838 until 1888, the colony was administered by Captain Generals of the Creeperian Navy, and from 1888 to 1918, the colony had its own Parliament, separate from the Parliament of Creeperopolis, and was administered by a democratically elected Captain General. The island of Rakeo gained independence on 3 September 1918 after an independence referendum, however, the Islas Conejos and Susla voted to remain as a part of Creeperopolis. Creeperopolis' continued administration of Susla contributed to the occurrence of the Susla Affair on 23 May 1937.

Territories

The Captaincy General and Department of Rakeo and the Southern Territories was composed of three main island groups: Rakeo, Islas Conejos, and Susla. Today, Rakeo is an independent nation, the Islas Conejos are a part of the Creeperian department of Senvar, and Susla is a part of the Creeperian department of Deltino. The main capital city of the captaincy general was Olino. The main cities on the Islas Conejos and Susla were Challague and Punto Sur, respectively. The Creeperian colonists established the city of San Miguel de Martínez, named after King Miguel I, in 1842 on the southern coast of Rakeo.
