Foundation

Abdul Abed was an oil tycoon in Urshawabad that had developed a strong investment portfolio in developing football clubs and leagues. He met with Icarisian president Eli Dupont, with whom he had done business with in the past before Dupont's career in politics; and Dupont was eager to develop a club football league in the country. He believed it would promote tourism in Icarisian cities and create a dynamic sporting environment within the country. Dupont and Abed agreed a football club league in the nation would be beneficial, and Abed named Vance Kolsch (former Secretary-General of the Isarisian National Football Team) as the new project's President.

Abed's initial pitch was to established five teams in five cities. President Kolsch selected 15 cities to prepare bids and chose the first five, which were Paletaph (Pale Swans), Ausaba (Warriors), Isabella (FC), Othinia (Industrialists), and Misheb (FC).

Abdul Abed also wrote into the founding contract with Icaris was for ten years, Icarisian teams would participate in an international cup every two years with the Urshawan league he was the Chief Executive Officer of.

In 2039, the Blue and White Football Association had grown immensely. Middle to lower top tier football players from around the world were eyeing Icarisian club teams as a place to develop and break out as a star player. Due to this growth in popularity and revenue, and international interest in playing against Icarisian clubs, President Kolsch announced a growht plan of expanding the association to ten club teams and open them up to international cups from various countries.

Abdul Abed wanted to control the revenue association's streams and expanding the international cup invitations would loosen his grip on the revenue coming into the association. The association was primarily funded by the investor and most additional funds were being siphoned away as well, making the association entirely reliant on Abed's continual support. In 2039, Abed halted new funding of the association and began insisting the association begin making payments off their debt of his investment immediately. The association made enough funds to repay the debt and payoff Abed, but they could no longer afford the expansion President Kolsch had announced.

Ownership Transfer

President Kolsch saw the writing on the wall in 2040. He knew the association would go bankrupt and Abed would bleed the group and the country dry until his investment was repaid. Kolsch secretly founded the Icarisian League Football Group (ILFG) that purchased up most of the merchandising and marketing rights for the clubs from Abed without his knowledge of Kolsch's involvement.

In 2041, the international cup was canceled with Urshawabad and the popularity of President Kolsch and his leadership was diminishing. The association was underfunded and slowly deteriorating in just the two short years since Abed's forced repayment. Abed used Kolsh's initial growth promise against him and fired him for not meeting what he had announced he would do.

In 2041, the ILFG bought out the remaining debt owed on Abed's investment and formally bought the Blue and White Football Association outright from him.
