Besta-deild Ullr (Jackian:Ullr's Best Division) is a Reykani men's professional football league and the highest division of Football in Reykanes.Today it is organized by the KREY and by their main sponsorship known as the ISI bank group. It is named after the god of sport from the Norse mythology First season was played in 1951. The league consists of 7 teams which play each other four times a year. The two worst teams per year are automatically relegated to the BDU 2. The leaque is always played in spring and summer to avoid the harsh winters. Each team plays 24 matches(played all 6 other teams both home and away four times). In the end the top 2 teams will play a final where the winner will win the competetion and end the season. The tournament lasts for 84 matches.
