The battle was the first major conflict between Sequoyah and The Tribal Confederacy since the unification of the Sequoyan tribals. The battle resulted in a tribal victory due to the extensive use of Cheyall cavalry and guerilla tactics, with New Samaritan snipers using the cliffs around the river as a defensible position.
