The Battle of Tashtemir was part of the Easter Front of the OU intervention in Ajakanistan. The battle began on 1 December 2022 when paratroopers from the 7th Paratrooper Regiment landed in the suburbs of the city. Gjorkan forces from the 2nd Southeast Division led by Major General Ruadhán Shields arrived in the city on 2 December 2022. On 12 December 2022 from the Pavulturilori 9th Airborne Infantry Division carried out a raid on Tashetmir Radar Station. The following day, Gjorkan units began an advance to capture the city which resulted in the death of the Ajaki commander and subsequent retreat of Ajaki forces. [1][2]
