The Armas Blockade (Armas is Creeperian for Weapons; known in Creeperian as the Bloque Armas; known in Gandorian as Blokada Broni; known in Arabic as حصار الأسلحة and transliterated as hsar al'asliha), was a multinational naval blockade of the People’s Republic of Morova during the 2019–20 Morovan Crisis. The blockade began on 15 January 2020 following the passage of TCN Resolution 005 on two days prior on 13 January 2020.[1] The blockade ended on 27 January 2020 with the signing of the Treaty of Asr El Ziqara.

Background

Justification for the blockade was cited in TCN Resolution 005 as Morova's violation of TCN Resolution 003 when Morovan Captain Alyosha Karamazov sent a message to Hasan el-Ahsan, the leader Deltinian Liberation Army, offering Morovan aid, weapons, and an intervention in the Deltinian Insurgency.[2][3][4]

Creeperopolis and New Gandor began assembling the blockade force on 13 January 2020, and embarked from the port of Sonsonate on 15 January 2020 to Morovan waters.[5][6][7][8] Later on 15 January, the Lyoan National Navy, on behalf of the International Coalition for Morova (INTCOMOR), declared that Lyoan and Paleocacherian INTCOMOR forces in Morova would remain as peacekeeping forces during the blockade.[9] The Deltinian Liberation Army declared its support for the Morovans following a car bombing in Nuevo San Juan on 15 January 2020.[10]
