On 18 December 2021 at the Emperor Adolfo III Stadium in San Salvador, the home stadium of CF San Salvador, the national football teams of Creeperopolis drew 2–2 Tirol in a friendly international match. The match was the 31st meeting between the two national teams and the 15th played in San Salvador.
Four goals were scored during the match. Only one was scored in the first half by Creeperian striker Alberto Pacheco Hernández at the 18th minute. In the second half, Tiroler midfielder Alessandro Chera and forward Saša Kalajdžić each scored a goal in the 50th and 73rd minute, respectively, giving Tirol a 2–1 lead. Creeperian midfielder Alexander Flores Mejía missed a penalty kick at the 63rd minute, preventing Creeperopolis from scoring a second goal, however, Pacheco Hernández eventually did score a second goal for Creeperopolis at the 90+1 minute despite being offsides, as the referees failed to call an offsides. No further scores occurred, and the match ended in a 2–2 draw, the eighth draw between the two teams in their history.
Because of the circumstances of the tying score in stoppage time, the match has been commonly referred to as 90+1 and The Offside,[note 1] the latter being particularly used frequently by Tiroler fans. As a result of the draw, the Creeperopolis prevented Tirol from claiming its third ever win in San Salvador. Tirol's last win in Creeperopolis occurred 63 years prior on 14 December 1958 (3–2), with the one prior win occurring on 22 October 1932 during the 1932 Terraconservan Cup (4–0), Tirol's largest ever win over Creeperopolis.
The draw was not well received by either side. Tiroler players, fans, and commentators expressed that they felt that the match was stolen by Pacheco Hernández who scored a stoppage time goal after being offsides, and that he also prevented Tirol from beating Creeperopolis in San Salvador for the first time in 63 years. They believed that the match should have ended 2–1 in a Tiroler victory. Creeperian players, fans, and commentators, on the other hand, believed that the match should have ended in a 3–2 Creeperian victory if Flores Mejía had scored the penalty kick, however, they tended to be more content with the final draw due to the scenario leading to the stoppage time goal by Pacheco Hernández, considered to be Creeperopolis' best player.
