The Asr El Ziqara Conference was a conference held on January 26, 2020, between the nations of Creeperopolis, Morova, and New Gandor. The conference was arranged by Greater Sacramento and is being held in Asr El Ziqara. The main points of the conference are the Armas Blockade, the shootdown of Morovan Airlines Cargo Flight 39, and the enforcement of TCN Resolution 005.

Course of Events

Dialogue

The conference opened with Greater Sacramento officially opening the statement. Translators for Creeperian, Morovan, and Gandorian were provided.^[5] Each of the leaders took their seats.^[6]^[7]^[8]

Grand Admiral Alexei Karamazov demanded an explanation for the shootdown of the Morovan plane over El Salvador from Minister of Defense Augusto Cabañeras Gutiérrez. He also demanded an end to the Armas Blockade and claimed to advocate for Atheists and Muslims who "suffer under the Creeperian regime."^[9] Cabañeras Gutiérrez responded by direclty insulting Karamazov by indirectly calling him "low IQ" explaining that the plane was shot down for allegedly supporting terrorist fighters o the Deltinian Liberation Army.^[10] He also informed Karamazov that Creeperian ships participating in the blockade were in international waters and that the ships are simply enforcing TCN Resolution 005. He continued to state that if Karamazov had a problem with the Creeperian Navy enforcing the resolution, he could simply write a resolution to repeal TCN Resolution 005 instead of "complaining for something to be done which would violate the law of the Terraconserva Council of Nations." He also continued that Muslims do not suffer under the Creeperian government, that only Muslim terrorists suffer and "pay with their lives," and that Atheists suffer as "they deny the existence of the divine and must be punished for their crime."^[11]

Karamazov proceeded to condemn Cabañeras Gutiérrez about topics regarding religion and hypocrisy.^[12] President Jacob Morgan interrupted saying "We too are worried about the [shootdown]. Not only for New Gandor's sake[, b]ut the world's sake. We shouldn't have to live in fear that we could get caught up in this conflict."^[13] Cabañeras Gutiérrez responded by criticizing both Morgan and Karamazov and expressed a desire to stop debating and begin with the conference.^[14]

Karamavoz, using a racial stereotype, asked Cabañeras Gutiérrez for his terms.^[15] Cabañeras Gutiérrez responded with his terms:

"Our terms are that the Morovan government acknowledges that Morovan Airlines Cargo Flight 39 was a mission to support the terrorists of the Deltinian Liberation Front and apologizes to do such a thing, the Morovan government moves all submarines away from Creeperian blockade ships, and the Morovan government will abide by TCN Resolution 003. In exchange, the Creeperian government will lift the blockade, return all our ships home, leave humanitarian aid for Morovan civilians to be distributed by INTCOMOR in our departure, and support a repeal of TCN Resolution 005."^[16]

Karamavoz responded by refusing to apologize for the flight but has expressed forgiveness for the shootdown and agrees to sign a non-aggression pact between Creeperopolis and Morova.^[17] Cabañeras Gutiérrez agreed to a non-aggression pact.^[18] Karamavoz agreed to the terms.^[19]
